Position: Structural Welder
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: $17 to $22/hour
Experience: Must be able to pass a T Plate, Flat, and Downhill weld test.
Type: Full-time; Contract to Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00am to 3:30pm
ProRecruiters is seeking a Structural Welder to join a growing and dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints and technical drawings, setting up welding equipment, and welding structural components used in machinery, frames, and fabricated structures. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Description:
Interpret and work from blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering drawings.
Weld structural components using MIG, TIG, and Stick (SMAW) welding processes.
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and parts to specifications.
Use cutting torches, grinders, and other metalworking tools to prep materials.
Set up fixtures and welding equipment according to job requirements.
Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
Perform layout and fit-up of structural parts before welding.
Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to shop safety protocols.
Collaborate with machinists, fabricators, and engineers as needed.
